INVITATION TO JOIN OUR EXECUTIVE

Are you looking to give back and get involved as a volunteer in your profession at the local level? We have 2 positions coming available at our April 2nd 2019 AGM (mark your calendars and look out for an Eventbrite invitiation to register!).

The Chair and Vice Chair positions are open for nominations:

The Chair leads the executive team and ensures our actions are in line with our strategic initiatives, is the contact person for our National Orthopaedic Division, and helps to determine directions and programs the executive will pursue.

The Vice Chair position assists the Chair in all aspects of committee execution and is expected to assume the Chair position following completion of their term.

Each position is for a minimum of 1 year. The current Chair (Angela Growse) will move into the Past Chair position for one year to assist in the transition and offer clarity to the incoming Chair regarding past executive actions, decisions, etc.

UPDATES

After a 2-year trial of our course bundle discount program, we have decided to discontinue the program due to it not meeting the criteria we laid out when it was created. If you have already signed up and registered as part of the bundle discount program, you're registration will be honoured. No new bundles will be offered. We thank those who took advantage of this program.

Our Speaker's Night ran last Spring and was an interesting and fun event - despite the unexpected Friday night wedding music from the next ballroom. Our next Speaker's Night will occur in the fall of 2019.

We look forward to serving you in 2019!
